Hi, I’m Karl Schwartz, and I help surgeons and physicians in high-risk specialties bring clarity and confidence to their financial lives. Your world is fast-paced and high-stakes, and your financial plan shouldn’t add to the pressure.
As a financial advisor and the head of our firm’s financial planning team, I act as a personal CFO for medical professionals who want their wealth organized, intentional, and aligned with the future they’re working so hard to build. Surgeons deal with complex compensation, liability exposure, demanding schedules, and big decisions with little time. I simplify all of that into a clear, proactive strategy you can trust.
I thrive on easing your financial stress, whether you’re a vascular or orthopedic surgeon, another specialist with a demanding career, or someone navigating a major life transition. My approach is centered on pacing: “We will take one step at a time; we don’t have to do everything at once,” I advise clients. “We will prioritize what matters most and take care of them at a manageable, deliberate pace.”
My journey began as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a large regional tax firm. In 2008, I followed my true calling into comprehensive wealth management and obtained my CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® (CFP®) certification in 2010. This foundational tax knowledge, combined with deep technical and planning expertise, allows me to provide clients with advice that is both specialized and comprehensive.
Outside of work, I enjoy creating memorable experiences with my wife and children, traveling, exploring new places, going to the beach or simply spending time together.
My goal is simple: to give you structure, support, and peace of mind so you can focus on what matters most—your patients, your family, and the life you’re building.
