Zac Riera became a financial advisor because he wanted to use his analytical skills and natural empathy to help people. “The most rewarding part of work for me is helping clients achieve their goals,” he says. “The long-term relationships and trust we build are so important.”
Zac works with a broad range of clients, helping them find financial peace of mind. He especially enjoys supporting young families in setting and achieving goals for their future–whether it’s saving up for retirement, buying a home, or putting funds away for their kids’ college educations. “Making thoughtful decisions now will help pave the way to the future they want,” he says. He employs the same dedication and care with clients approaching retirement.
Prior to joining Team Hewins, Zac spent almost six years at a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm as an Associate Financial Advisor. In that role he enjoyed working closely with clients on building their financial plans and coordinated holistic planning strategies with their other professionals, including CPAs and estate attorneys. He earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2018.
Zac graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. Outside of work, he enjoys being active outdoors, practicing jiujitsu, and going to the gym. He also likes to explore San Francisco restaurants and parks on the weekends, as well as traveling and taking road trips.
